It's been really hard to update but I thought the least I could do is put up some photos so you can all see what Nha Trang looks like a bit and some of what I've been doing here. I'll try to summarise some of the things I've done ASAP...
These tables and chairs, which are the right size for these children, are in fact used by everyone everywhere you go!
View of Nha Trang in the distance with paddy fields in front from high in the mountains.
Some friends on the way to have fruit shakes on the roadside after work at 1am; cyclists holding onto the motorbike to save pedaling.
2 litres of beer in a football boot!
'Bo Ha' - my friend Dean diving at the waterfalls.
4 workers in the fields.
The mounds you can see are of salt and these are actually small mounds; they get up to and over 3m in height.
Where I've played football a couple of times, right on the beachfront with the sea and mountains in the background.
Vietnamese pool - 3 balls and no pockets!
Motorbike drivers gather in the shade in the late afternoon to play cards.
Construction workers - these guys are still up there at 2am at night.
Me, Abs and Tracey at the Sailing Club.
Dat (left) and Trang (right) - the bartenders at the bar I worked at.
Insomnia Full Moon party on the beach at the Sailing Club.
Swimming in the sea at sunrise after partying one night.
Me and the bar staff at Karaoke.
Very Vietnamese - if they haven't got 5 people on a bike they've go their pets!
Local girls living in little shacks on the beach among a fishing community, all very friendly and happy to pose for photos.
Resting in the shade.
Floating bar on a boat trip I went on.
Nha Trang v Saigon at the local stadium.
The amazing band who performed 'Yellow Submarine' among other things on the boat trip.
A typical baguette stand, found everywhere.
1 Comments:
